AFGE Local 1411 invites all members to attend the membership meeting being held 20 January 2010 @ 5:00pm @ 6th District Office ( 5674 Caito Dr.)
AFGE National per capita tax: The delegates at the 2009 convention voted to increase the monthly AFGE national per capita tax over the next three (3) years. Effective January 1, 2010 the per capita tax rate will increase by $2.00. The new per capita tax rates are as follows for insured locals:
1/1/10 $2.00 $20.55
1/1/11 $0.00 $20.55
1/1/12 $ .25 $20.80
Weingarten Rights - pursuant to Sections 7114(a)(2)(B) and 7114(a)(3) of Title 5, U.S. Code, all agency bargaining unit employees are entitled to the provisions as described below:
Bargaining unit employees have the right to Union representation at any examination of bargaining unit employee by a management representative in connection with an investigation if:
1. The employee reasonably believes that the examination may result in disciplinary action against the employee; and
2. The employee requests representation
